Rye – June – What’s On?

As 2024 whizzes by, and another month is upon us, I’m looking further forward still, to two events in September that I hope you’ll be able to mark in your calendar.

Current events in and around Rye may be passing me by at the moment, as I’ve been spending a lot of time in the studio lately. Either working on my new collection, or studying for my Gemmology course exam which is at the end of this month!

My focus is getting ready for September’s events at the Rye Creative Centre, which will mark the next collection of Heather Rajaratnam Jewellery. I’m using the skills honed over the years, with the inclusion of precious gems using skills I’ve learnt on my Gemmology course at The Gemmological Association of Great Britain in London’s Jewellery Quarter, Hatton Garden. It has been an incredible course, which has taught me so much and will allow me to bring my creative vision to life for another bold, empowered, and unique collection.

September Show

If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll remember that last September we had an artist’s show at the Rye Creative Centre, and I’m thrilled to share that it’s happening again!

This is a fantastic opportunity to see the work of the artist’s who call the RCC their creative home, and you’ll also have the opportunity to meet and purchase from them directly.

The show is on the 7th of September, with a private view on the evening of the 6th September, please let me know if you’d like an invitation to the first evening.

I’ve been working hard on my latest collection which I’m planning to debut at this event, and I cannot wait for you to see the evolution of the brand. I really hope you’ll love it as much as I do.

Make sure you follow me at @heatherrajaratnam_jewellery to see more behind the scenes content as the next collection takes form and I work towards this event.
